Philosophy
of Little North Stars
The DGN North Stars
is taught by high school students who are studying child development and
parenting, eager to take an active teaching role and interested in careers
involving children. The structure of our preschool enhances socialization,
cooperative play and fun filled learning, with a play based focus on the idea
that children learn the most from creative lessons.
The daily
schedule is a mixture of teacher and child directed play with small and large
group activities based around a theme.
Children will be involved in small/large motor, dramatic play, block
play, music, math, science, nutrition, social studies, creative are, and sand
and water play lessons focusing on the
social and emotional adjustment to developing healthy self-care habits.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRESCHOOL SLOTS ARE FILLED ON A FIRST-COME,
FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
Children are not enrolled until the Application
has been returned with a deposit.
Fill out the application form
and return it along with a $50.00 deposit.
You will receive an email verifying your enrollment along with the additional
forms needed to attend (enrollment and health forms). The balance of the fees will be collected in November
at our Parent/Child Meet & Greet.
Information about the Parent/Child Meet & Greet will be sent to you
in the fall.
We look forward to working
with you and your family. If you should
have any questions, comments, or concerns please contact us. We will be happy to assist you with anything.
Sincerely,
